Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to let you know about the launch of a study, "Coincidence of COVID-19 and Diabetes in Pregnancy" (CoCoDiP). Its purpose is to investigate whether maternal diabetes (any form) and COVID-19 during pregnancy interact to cause more adverse outcomes for the mother and/or fetus or neonate. If you provide care for women during pregnancy or their neonates, I invite you to contribute to this study by entering de-identified patient data into a HIPAA-compliant REDCap survey instrument that is hosted on a Joslin Diabetes Center server. The patients DO NOT need to have diabetes or COVID-19 during pregnancy, but they DO need to have been pregnant on or after November 1, 2019.
If you or a colleague is interested in contributing to this study or would like more information, please contact me at:

Sincerely,
