I'm hoping this is an appropriate group for me to share this information about our Diabetes Virtual Winter Camp, and if so, please share with anyone who might be interested in our upcoming program. If not, my apologies for sharing.
Following successful Diabetes Virtual Summer Camp and Fall Camp, gathering 537 students from 111 colleges, 44 states, 10 countries, and including 213 students of underrepresented minorities, we are continuing with the Diabetes Virtual Winter Camp, sponsored by the
American Diabetes Association,
starting on Jan. 23rd.
Diabetes Virtual Winter Camp is a 4-week virtual research internship program that invites high school, college, graduate, and professional students worldwide interested in learning about biomedical research and academic medicine with a focus on diabetes research, education, and care. The program consists of 14 Zoom sessions that highlight current topics on diabetes research and treatment as well as an academic career path in medicine and science. The sessions are led by 11 renowned diabetes scientists and clinicians from reputable universities, who will share their exciting research programs.
