Hi Cathy,
There are various G codes but for the basic virtual check-in, you would use G2012.  This is for Medicare part B, Medicare Advantage plans and some PPO's. From what I learned, this can only be used for existing patients. You should double-check with your biller for additional details.

We were told today that there were some updates and not to use the G2012 code but to use the 99441-99443 time based codes for both medicare and commercial.

The billing for a telephone only visit is G2012
A video visit can be billed using the same criteria as for a face to face visit - although I am finding that I usually need to go down a level with the absence of a PE

For a telehealth DSMES visit  please continue to use the same G codes as before:
G0108 for 1:1
G0109 for group
Use 02 as the place of service
