The 2021 Diabetes Virtual Summer Camp is a virtual research internship program that invites high school, college, graduate, and professional students worldwide interested in learning about biomedical research and academic medicine with a focus on diabetes research, education, and care. The program consists of 12 Zoom sessions that highlight current topics on diabetes research and treatment as well as an academic career path in medicine and science. The sessions are led by 8 renowned diabetes scientists and clinicians from reputable universities, who will share their exciting research programs.

This program is free to all registered attendees with a suggested donation, and the generous contributions will be donated to the American Diabetes Association to support diabetes research, education, and care. All registered attendees must participate in the entire 4-week program and will receive a certificate upon completing this virtual internship program.
