    The Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association (JAPMA) has published a special communication entitled: All Feet On Deck-The Role of Podiatry During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Preventing hospitalizations in an overburdened healthcare system, reducing amputation and death in people with diabetes.  In addition to suggesting a triage system for lower-extremity wounds and diabetic foot problems, the publication provides recommended "strategies to perform best practices in the new pandemic standard of care for the at-risk diabetic foot."

    Hello Ryan,

    This is a great outline of what needs to be done with the current situation. Table 1 can be used as a resource. Currently, I am only seeing priority 3 in my office. But if other podiatric offices could unload the burden in local wound care centers, it would help the dire situation.
